What Just Happened to Me? My First 9D Breathwork Experience (And Why Everyone Needs This)

What Just Happened to Me? My First 9D Breathwork Experience (And Why Everyone Needs This)

April 22, 20255 min read

Okay y’all. I’m still trying to process what happened to me…

Because I’ve done a lot of healing work over the years. Somatic breathwork. Healing retreats. Frequency sessions. All beautiful and powerful. But this right here?

9D breathwork is on a whole other plane.

Literally.

I wasn’t prepared. I thought I was. I mean, I’ve done some wild inner work, I’ve felt emotions I didn’t know had names, I’ve purged trauma through tears and trembles. But this?

This was like having my soul yanked out, scrubbed clean, and gently tucked back in—lighter, freer, whole.

I don’t even fully have the words yet.

But I’ll try…

Imagine this:

You’re laying down, eyes closed, headphones on.

You hear layered frequencies, powerful affirmations, deep tribal beats, healing tones that speak to your nervous system on a cellular level. Letty—my guide and space-holder for this session—is a literal QUEEN and knew just how to create the safest, most sacred container for what was about to unfold.

Then the breath begins.

It’s rhythmic. Intense. Like your whole body becomes a wave of inhale, inhale, exhale, inhale, inhale, exhale. And before you know it—

You’re gone.

Gone from the room. Gone from your body. Gone from the narrative you’ve been trapped in for decades.

At one point, my body went completely numb.

Then the heat came. I started sweating. My hands curled in like tiny T. rex claws—thumb to middle finger, like you’re trying to hold onto the last chicken wing on the planet. And yeah… they stayed like that for a hot minute.

It sounds intense.

And it was.

But also? It was everything I didn’t know I needed.

Here’s what I realized:

I have been stuck in a sympathetic state for years.

That’s your fight-or-flight response. Your survival mode. And it doesn’t just show up in dramatic trauma responses—it can show up in everyday motherhood.

For me, it looked like this:

• Constantly feeling behind even when I wasn’t.

• Rushing through everything—cooking, laundry, bedtime—even though there was no actual deadline.

• Feeling like I had a million things to do and zero time to do them…

  • short-fused and snappy—like a sour patch mom, minus the sweet.

But here’s the kicker:

I’m my own boss. I set my own schedule. No one is rushing me.

That urgency?

That panic?

That wasn’t reality. That was my nervous system on overdrive. My brain was stuck in fight or flight—and it was running the show.

And guess what?

Our kids feel that.

They absorb it.

They mirror it.

When we’re stuck in react-mode, so are they. And suddenly the whole house is chaotic, overstimulated, emotionally dysregulated… and we wonder why we can’t seem to find calm.

But calm doesn’t start with them.

It starts with us.

That’s what this 9D session gave me.

It felt like 40 years of pain, grief, shame, guilt, trauma, false beliefs—just left my body.

I cried.

Hard.

The next day, I cried some more. Not from sadness, but from relief.

I didn’t realize how heavy I had been until the weight was gone.

Today, I feel free.

Emotionally. Mentally. Physically. Spiritually.

I feel like me.

You know that version of yourself you see in your head?

The calm one.

The gentle one.

The present, patient, peaceful, organized, motivated, joyful one.

The one who laughs more, yells less, makes nourishing meals, has energy to play, responds instead of reacts, speaks kindly, breathes deeply, holds space for her kids, and somehow still remembers to drink water?

Yeah. That one.

The version you’re always striving for… but rarely feel like you can reach.

The one you beat yourself up over not being.

The one you promise you’ll “be tomorrow”… after the laundry’s done, after the tantrum, after the meltdown—yours or theirs.

That’s who came home from this session.

She was in there the whole time—just buried under survival.

And now?

Now I have the know-how.

The tools to keep her present. To keep her grounded. To keep her leading my days.

Not with perfection, but with peace.

And it wasn’t more therapy.

It wasn’t another diagnosis.

It sure as hell wasn’t medication.

It was breath.

Simple, sacred time and space to breathe.

That’s what brought her back.

And that’s what will keep her here.

What Is 9D Breathwork?

It’s a guided transformational breathwork experience that combines 9 layers of healing tools, including:

• Somatic breath patterns

• Hypnotherapy

• NLP (neuro-linguistic programming)

• Subliminal messaging

• Visualization

• Binaural beats + frequency healing

• Meditation

• Affirmations

• Energy movement

It’s not just breathing—it’s a deep, cellular reset. Think nervous system alchemy.

And Letty? She’s the Real Deal.

I can’t end this without shouting out the woman who made this possible: Letty at @50shadesofcrunchy.

She facilitated this session with such grace, strength, and wisdom. I felt safe. I felt seen. And I felt guided the entire way through.

If you’re holding onto pain…

If you’ve tried everything and still feel stuck in the loop…

You need to try this.

This isn’t hype. It’s not fluff. It’s healing.

If you do a session with her, please share your journey with me.

I want to hear it. I want to witness it.

Because when we heal ourselves, we change our homes. We change our kids. We change everything.

You don’t have to live in survival mode.

There’s another way. And it starts with your breath.
